Gas Submetering
GAS
New construction:
With over thirty years experience specializing in multifamily utiltiy cost allocation, Invoice America has the experience, the know-how and the best equipment available to submeter gas consumption in your apartment complex. For new construction and existing properties, Invoice America is the only name you need to know for gas submetering.

Standard NG4 diaphragm gas meters are specifically made for submetering applications with gas appliances. The aluminum construction along with the sealed register are well-suited to apartment submetering applications. They utilize pulsing heads and integrated frequency-hopping RF signal transmitters to transmit collected consumption data to a centrally-located data collector..

Frequency-hopping, spread spectrum RF (radio frequency) wireless gas meter monitors are installed on every meter. This equipment is used to monitor utility consumption in over two million apartments nationwide. Automated nightly data collection is provided using either a dial-up modem or an internet connection.

Gas consumption data is uploaded daily from your property's onsite data collector to our centrally-located billing facility in Omaha, Nebraska. At the end of each monthly period, a statement that looks like an ordinary utility bill is prepared by Invoice America and mailed directly to apartment residents. Our available third-party payment processing gives tenants the impression Invoice Ameica billings are comparable to other utilities...the sense of payment to an independent third party...not the sense of payment to the property.
